Community Development

Our community pillar is centered on establishing a community project hatchery, where initiatives are led by local community leaders to address and resolve various social issues.

The Careyes Foundation has led initiatives from youth and adults and created job training programs, STEM clubs (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics), and sex education campaigns. Our Community Center for Youth Engagement in Emiliano Zapata offers extracurricular programs that provide new opportunities for skills-building.

The Disaster Preparedness and Response Program also equips communities with the knowledge and resources needed to respond to natural disasters, including first aid and emergency procedure training in collaboration with Civil Defense, and the provision of essential equipment like generators and chainsaws, ensuring resilience and safety during crises.

MUSIC LESSONS / CHILDREN'S CHOIR

Our music professor coaches weekly children’s choirs in seven local communities, providing access to musical education and boosting children’s self-esteem through regular choir concerts. Our music school also features weekly guitar classes for youth and adults.
