Education

Since 2015, our Children’s English Program has provided over 2,700 elementary school students from first to sixth grade with the opportunity to develop essential early language skills before middle school.

For future career and educational opportunities, it’s important for children to be familiar with the English language.

The Careyes Foundation, in collaboration with the Catalina Foundation, developed the Beyond Borders English curriculum specifically for 1st-6th grade students from rural communities. To date, we have distributed more than 10,000 books to public school students.

We have a team of five dedicated English teachers who deliver weekly classes in 12 local schools, promoting bilingualism from a young age.
